Harris Gallery

Seth Kaufman’s solo exhibit will be shown through Oct. 14 at the Harris Art Gallery. The exhibit is a series of sculptures created from unusual objects and includes Kaufman’s self-portrait on one wall. Admission is free.

Carlson Gallery

The Carlson Gallery will show “From the Car,” a black and white photography exhibition, through Oct. 8. The exhibit showcases photographs taken of passengers in cars during a daily commute by Los Angeles-based photographer Lillian Elaine Wilson. Admission is free.

Rufio

The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Friday for a show featuring Rufio at the Glass House in Pomona. Before their Eyes, Close to Home, and the Young modern will open the show. Tickets cost $13 in advance or $15 at the door. For more information, visit theglasshouse.us.

Indian Dance Performance

The Fall Music Series begins at 2 p.m. Sunday with a performance of “Bharatanatyam,” a sacred dance that originated in southern India. The performance will be held at the Boston Court Performing Arts Center in the Marjorie Branson Performance Space in Pasadena. Tickets cost $15- $25. For more information, visit bostoncourt.org.

James Fuller

Through the remainder of the school year, the Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum at Claremont McKenna College will play host to landscape watercolors created by James Fuller, professor emeritus at Scripps College.
